In retrospect, I do agree but the waiting stuff...... I'm over it.
Not throwing darts at Woodward but this coaching search has made everyone a little crazy.
At this point, I'm just watching. Not believing anything I read on here.

I mean if the guy that Woody has picked is still in the hunt for the playoff I can see why they are not announcing it but it definitely has been a shitshow as a LSU fan. I mean our recent past of getting coaches has been sketchy to say the least.

We laugh but wtf why did Lincoln leave a year before Oklahoma was going to play in the SEC? I mean USC has been irrelevant for almost a decade and all the libs in California can give two shits about football. Don’t give me the money BS either Oklahoma would have matched it.

Despite Woody’s success with two home run hires, when it comes to LSU football coaching hires, we are still shaken by our past ones.

Exactly Oklahoma was almost guaranteed the playoff every year in that soft arse big 12 all offense and no defense. He will go to the PAC 12 now and do the same thing. He isn’t stupid and I believe the end goal for him is to be a NFL Head Coach aka Pete Carrol.

As soon as OU announced the move to the SEC, Lincoln was done. No one knew until today (or Sunday).
The problem? There was still a season to play. He was checked out all year. Tanked a talented team probably on purpose. Lied to everyone at OU. He was negotiating with them. He used the LSU offer to do so. In truth, he never intended to stay at OU. He used the LSU offer and the OU negotiations as cover to go west. Blind-sided a whole program.
