Les Miles didn’t get the Mich job because he couldn’t keep his zipper closed,he dipped it in wrong pool.He got involved with one of his co-workers wives,Gary Moellers wife.Thats the reason Lloyd Carr despised him.

The only reason this is even in question is because Deboer isn't solid at Alabama from Alabama's standpoint.

What are you talking about? I was responding to something entirely different.

a few idiots on SECRANT doesn’t speak for the fanbase… he is safe . If he leaves it will be on him, not Bama
Was I referring to him being fired this year? Or was I referring to him being on shaky ground next year?
Hint: the answer is directly in the post that you responded to.
If Deboer moves on it's not because he views Michigan as the better job. That's insane. It's because he knows that him being on the hot seat is a real possibility very, very soon.

Played for SECC this year and in playoffs … his seat is ice cold

Yeah, you are wrong.
They backed into the SEC Championship. And, getting absolutely blown out in that game actually hurt him.
They were on the ropes against Auburn.
I'm not saying he's a lock to be fired. But, he better not lose in round 1 this year. And, if he does, he better not have losses like he did this year.
You are way off on your assessment.

I am glad an LSU fan thinks he knows what is going on at UA. Supposed to be no trolling on these boards I thought ? Speculation on your part or people on X does not make anything true . Going 7-1 in SEC play is not “ backing” into anything . Broken fanbase

Glad to know that Bama is fine with 4 loss seasons

We are in the playoffs …. That’s where the good teams are

Did anyone with any sense in their head actually believe DeBoer was interested in leaving for Michigan? Bama to Michigan seems like a serious downgrade to me.

You guys are so sensitive that you don't realize that I'm actually speaking highly of the program.
Leaving Alabama for the Michigan job doesn't make sense in a vacuum. The reason the possibility can't be ignored altogether is because Deboer's seat isn't exactly secure.

It shouldn’t be. BK lost 4, 3, 4, and got fired after his third loss.
Is Bama going to be fine with 3 consecutive 4 loss seasons?

Rumor is Sexton is doing these rumors himself to make Bama fans think Deboer is special

I'm not trolling (except the Finebaum part).
It's a different age. Deboer did a good job of salvaging this season. Between game 1 and through most of the regular season, he did a good job solidifying his position (which was already being questioned).
Losing to Oklahoma certainly isn't a debacle. It would have helped him if A&M hadn't lost.
But, they did and then Bama got blown out.
If he loses in round1, the rhetoric will get worse.
He won't survive 3 losses next year if that happens, IMO. It's a different world. Bama isn't going to sit back and do nothing.

And, before it's taken wrong, I'm not predicting this.
I'm simply explaining why there ANY chance Deboer would consider Michigan.
