Harrell went to school at Tech, but he's from Ennis (think his father was his coach there), which is a looooong way from Lubbock. So, while the alma mater tie is there, Lubbock isn't really "home" for Harrell, I would guess. If he's comfortable working in LA, then I can't see him running back to Lubbock to work for another head coach on the hot seat.

Art resigned as head coach of Mt. Vernon high earlier this week. Tech is a likely destination for him but other rumors are he will move to Liberty to replace Hugh F. when he takes a bigger job. The Liberty AD was the Baylor AD when the scandal broke and he and Art were let go.
