The real question is if LSU has spoken to him. That would be the news.

The fact that it's an upper tier SEC job would be appealing at this moment in time for him. However, I wonder if he'd consider working with Orgeron again. Since Freeze has already been a pretty successful head coach, would he be able to take orders from O this time around? As all can see, Freeze does have a bit of an ego. He'd probably take it just to get back in the game, but I'm sure he would need some clauses in his contract to have full offensive control.

If Freeze did come on board, and Orgeron keeps his hands off it would be a dynamite hire. Using a hurry up type offense with the talent already on the roster could really put up some points to go along with that good defense. Scary thought indeed.

Quad is doing great. Hit a game winner for the basketball team the other night. He’s just a ball player period.

As far as whether I’m believed or not, it doesn’t matter to me, and frankly given some of the stuff I have seen posted here over the years, I don’t blame anyone skeptical.

As to the convo...we talked about several subjects, and I know that Jimmy is actively vetting out opportunities. Sure would love to see Hugh in BR.

aiight. I'm in.

Good Question about would he work for Ed..

From the convo yesterday, I have Zero doubt about that. Hope it happens.

What up, Coach?!?

That’s pretty cool, you talked to Hugh.
Hope everything works out with Freeze. Everyone makes mistakes, shouldn’t dictate the rest of their careers.

Glad to hear Quad is doing good.
Does he play baseball too?

That dynamic might actually work. If O trusts him and doesn't have to prove himself, since Freeze is already a known entity, O may be comfortable truly letting Freeze handle the offense while leaving the defense to Aranda.

But there is not shot in hell that O would have him on board. O is so insecure and he knows he isn't qualified for the job he has. If Canada's arrogance rubbed O the wrong way, then him and Freeze would seriously butt heads.

You don't know that.

I have been as tough on O as anyone. Still not buying any of him.

But I can make the argument that he and HF know each other and he'll trust him from jump more than he ever did Canada.

Getting a feeling the only thing stopping this might be the optics. Way LSU operates. Fire first, ask later.

Is it really to much trouble to spell out "Hugh Freeze"? You should have just stayed in bed this morning,

I believe the poster talked to Freeze.

I don't believe a word Freeze said. He's the typical mega-church sociopath. He'll say/do anything to get what he wants.

Is it really too much trouble to add the second "o"?

I mean; given you are castigating the OP for laxity in the written format of message boards and all.
