Surprisingly Woodward is not negotiating LSU's next coaching hire it's his Ace negotiator!

Mike Scarborough noted last night that all Tiger fans want to talk about is Scott Woodward, Scott Woodward, Scott Woodward. But it's Stephanie Rempe who is Scott's killer recruiter and top negotiator, it was Stephanie who got Woodward, Jay Johnson, and Kim Mulkey. Scarborough noted Tiger fans should look her up if you want to be impressed.
Stephanie Rempe was Woodward's deputy athletic director at Texas A&M from 2016 to 2019 and joined LSU in a similar role, where she now assists Woodward and LSU's deputy athletic director in daily operations.
Rempe was first hired by Woodward at the University of Washington in 2008, where she supervised men's basketball, women's volleyball, softball and men's golf, and managed all of the university's capital projects, including the $285 million renovations of Husky Stadium.

Mulkey has mentioned her every time she has been asked about the process of how she ended up at LSU. You can tell she played a major role.
But the way Mulkey and others have spoken about her, I take it as more that Scott is the recruiter and Rempe is the money/contract negotiator that gets all the details ironed out. Mulkey alluded to that a few times of Rempe "making the numbers work".
