and 3 of the losses were to Florida, Kansas St, and OU in year 1 - the people who dont think Sumrall is qualified are retarded.

Willie Fritz's Tulane in 2023:

3-point win against 2-10 ECU
2-point win against 4-8 Tulsa
2-point win against 6-7 Rice
7-point win against 5-7 North Texas

Your point is stupid. Added parity in college football across the board has shown that there are close games every single week. Your team just got arse-blasted by a Texas A&M squad that barely beat Arkansas by 3-points. Even Auburn beat Arkansas by a bigger margin.

Furthermore, its the Transfer Portal era. All of Fritz's players are likely gone at this point. Tulane is a program that is going to get picked over by bigger teams for their talent. As proven by the fact that they lost their star QB from last season to Duke.

Fritz built that program back up. Just like he got houston turned around. Who cares what the scores were.

It does have to give you pause when talking about Sumrall. And people keep saying he lost his qb in Mensah, which he did, but he got lucky that retzlaf got kicked off the byu team.

I like Sumrall but I would like him a lot more if he went to another school and proved it once more.
