High yardage totals, but low touchdowns and low yards per play.

There are certainly things to like, but there are also things that are concerning. I watched some of their games and it seemed like a lot of the plays either went for very few yards or were big plays. The big plays were sometimes due to the QB buying time and sometimes were busted coverages. Of the busted coverages, I couldn't tell if they were caused by play design or just poor defense.

I'm not trolling. Look at the top spread offenses and you'll see that USF was one of the lower TD/FG ratios. With our red zone issues this year, this was concerning to me.

I'd still rather Orgeron hire him over Ensminger, but I'm firmly in the camp of wanting Orgeron to get whoever he truly wants so there's no excuses if it doesn't work.

They were top 50 in passing offense with less attempts than anyone ahead of them

8th is pass per completion.

Top 10 rushing offense

Top 10 scoring offense
