Would it even be possible to get either one next year or would their current contracts prevent that?

I don't think Saban ever has a buyout

Did Saban ever sign his contract. I thought there were some problems with the details and that he was at least close to starting the season without a contract.

Could have been a rumor I never saw anything official on it.

Tubby has a 6 million dollar buy out. Thinks that way too rich for Skip

Anybody got a link about that Tubby buyout.

Not doubting but 6 mil seems kind of strange.

Tuberville is in the third season of a seven-year, $18.2 million contract. He will earn about $2.4 million this season. The contract includes a $6 million buyout. If Tuberville leaves Auburn, the coach or his new employer could be held responsible for the full sum.

Thanks for the link. Wonder why they used the word "could" be held responsible for the full amount?

In any event, $6 mil is pretty steep.

If Tubby really wants to leave, then im sure that Auby would give a little grace on that 6 mil. No one wants a coach who doesn't want to be there.
