Pelini putting staff together quickly
Apparently, Pelini has most of his staff sorted out. Hopefully, that will help with him focusing later on that wittle bitty bowl game LSU has coming up.
Also, Deinhart said in yesterday's column that GTech has Rick Neuheisal pegged as their frontrunner. If that holds, then Tenuta won't be given a shot at HC.

It's been said that one rising coach (Paul Johnson or Jim Grobe, I can't remember which) had been approached about the possibility of coming to Nebraska, but that he balked when he was told that he'd be expected to hire certain Nebraska people as assistants.
Bo, OTOH, agreed to that stipulation, hence him getting the job and not really having to worry too much about a staff for the next month.

Edited to be more vague on the name of the coach. I can't remember if it was supposed to be Navy's Paul Johnson or Wake's Jim Grobe.

Sweet. I assume we'll be able to keep Earl Lane, etc... I like most of our position coaches.
