Ellis Johnson is a strong canidate. He will hire Petals coach to try and get Anthony Alford to come to USM.

I've been hearing this rumor, but I dont think there is much to it.
Johnson makes more at South Carolina than Fedora made at Southern Miss. I highly doubt that Southern will make him a big offer.
I feel that Blake Anderson the current OC will end up with the job.

Looks like they will go with the old guy, USCe DC Ellis Johnson or the Young guy, current OC Blake Anderson.
No other names at all are being mentioned.

Why is there ZERO Talk about this job?
Last I checked Southern Miss is a top 25 team looking for a new head coach.
FWIW one of the big money boosters (yes Southern Miss has a couple) was quoted saying he wants current OC Blake Anderson hired as HC.
