some takeaways from the lack of Herman info

So the alleged leaks that have come out over the past 2 months have had surprisingly little information about Tom Herman, which some people regard as one of the hottest names in college currently. The info that has come out tends to lean towards the "no interest" or "not likely" category. Here are a few takeaways from what the lack of information could mean.

1.) Herman is absolutely not interested. Even if this were true however, he'd be stupid to come out and tell us no right off the bat. I'm sure he'd know well enough to at least feign interest to keep us as leverage for a higher salary elsewhere.

2.) Alleva has learned from last year and has kept contact with Herman completely under wraps. As well as letting info leak about Jimbo and O to keep the focus off the real target of the search.

3.) Alleva has had Jimbo blinders on this whole time, putting all his eggs into that basket. Jimbo has shown enough interest that we haven't pursued Herman.

4.) Alleva is a dumbass and was actually waiting to see if O failed. Now that he has, if Jimbo doesn't come through we're probably screwed.

So what say you? Is Alleva playing 4D chess or is he just as incompetent as we have all thought? Either way, looks like we'll find out in about a weeks time. A new era is upon us.
