Some smoke regarding Louisville DC Bryan Brown and Mizzou

Don’t know a whole lot about him but he’s made some impressive improvements in the Louisville D since taking over. They were awful when he got there and in two years he cut almost 20 ppg of their scoring D and about 120 yards per game.

Holy shite. Was Pelini at Louisville before him? How many places can you even go where you have the opportunity to cut scoring D but 20 points?

They were terrible. Giving up like 45 pts per game. No idea who their DC was at the time.

Grantham was there until 2016.

Grantham actually did well there. It was the guy after him that sucked

Was that Brian VanGorder?
If so, then no wonder Bryan Brown was able to improve them so drastically in such a short period of time.

I believe it was Peter Sirmon.

Bryan played safety at Ole Miss. Great coach and guy. If Durkin doesn’t work out next year, I think Brown is next in line
