They will be good again next year when they get their starting QB back. Before Francois got hurt FSU looked like one of the best teams in the nation during that first game against Bama. It's hard to have a good season when you start a true Freshman QB.

You are spot on. If LSU paid him 7.5 for 7 year guarantee, 3 losses a year would not be acceptable. Every LSU fan would be calling for his job after the second consecutive 3 loss season.

Fisher is cashing out! Another season like this year would have him on the hot seat at FSU. So secure your future now while you can, another 6 loss season would diminishes his stock alot.

I agree, but are you saying 3 losses a year is acceptable with Orgeron?

I am kind of glad that we have a coach who we don't have to worry about leaving every single year. Imagine every single year having the rumor mill started up about your HC leaving and how that affects recruiting. I'm sure FSU is sick of it at this point, and the fact that Jimbo always remains completely silent on the issue never helps.

Even with the injury FSU should not have loss 6 games. They may not have been a playoff team but should have won atleast 9 games this year with that talent.

That wouldn't matter at FSU. Fisher could go 2-10 and they couldn't fire him. His buyout this year was 40 million dollars. 40 MILLION!

Not at all. The point is we paid 3.5 for three losses instead of 7.5.

Jimbo was 10-10 in his last 20 ACC games.
You think he'll manage something better in the SEC at A&M of all places??!?

I’m with you on that then. So 3 losses is unacceptable either way, but you get a lot shorter leash when you’re paid that much more for it.

Right, a lot of this can be blamed on FSU.

It was the perfect storm of factors.

Aggie paints themselves into a corner with Woodwards comments on Sumlin needing to win more games. He doesn't, appears weak if they don't fire him. Happens to be a huge coaching vacuum year, proven candidate like Jimbo can name his price tag and Aggie HAS to make a splash.

FSU boosters growing tired of Jimbo's antics behind the scenes, too many egos getting bruised, supposedly he will only listen to Thrasher, refuses to acknowledge anyone else. Jimbo posts worst season to date, yet demands more than ever.

Media and fans begin to criticize staff decisions that Jimbo doubled down on last year, rumors that admin is suggesting to him he fire personal friends on staff, Jimbo asserts he should have 100% control here and his coaches aren't the problem.

Jimbo feeling like promises weren't delivered on from previous years negotiations involving staff and facilities. Clemson completes 60M football facility, on the heels of a natty. Jimbo publicly compliment's Clemson's devotion to their program. Jimbo feels FSU is lagging behind and fighting his vision.

O will give him a glowing recomendation to any opening!!
lol With that said, with the Canada's contract, neither side is walking away, unless Canada gets a comparable contract from another school. Meaning I believe he will be here next year regardless. There is to much money on the table. LSU wont fire him.

With Meatball going to DL, and Greg becoming a full time SPT coach when the 10th coaching spot is allowed, one spot will be open. O and Meatball will still coach the DL and OLB. Im sure Pete will be an analyst.

I have heard O will use the open spot to get another Offensive coach likely a Outside WR coach. They would move Mickey to inside WR.

Correct, Alleva was overruled in 15. Fisher would have been the coach at the end of 15 if he had his way.
