If Fisher and Herman are both no's, the pickings are very slim. And there is a pretty good chance that we end up with neither
I keep seeing people shite on Fedora, yet he would be one of the better second tier options. Mullen would be the beat option because he can develop quarterbacks and he has recruited well for being at the worst program in the SEC West.

If we can't pull a coach with the potential to be one of the best coaches in the country, we may as well hire the shittiest coach possible so we have the opportunity to try again sooner.

So they can just repeat the cycle again? Seems like a great idea. Believe it or not but some coaches aren't jumping at the chance to come here. Most of the coaches people on here want are already at places where they can win at. The only we we out pay someone is if its a guy from a second tier school like MSU, UNC, Colorado, WVU.

None of these guys are leaving their schools unless they are fired. These guys were never options. None of the coaches are leaving their current gigs for any other school.

Just because all the names aren't hot commodities here doesnt mean there aren't plenty of outstanding coaches who might consider LSU.

This is a down year to hire a coach. In a year or two much more will be known about Fedora, Fleck, Fuente, Frost etc.
