It appears the only coaching change that will happen will not happen in Baton Rouge. Nebraska will hire Gill and Michigan will get either Ferentz or Kelly.
How fricked are we if we have to put our players and recruits through Miles and Pellini's coaching again?

If I were Skip I would call him in and ask him if he is interested in the Michigan job and if he says yes I would ask him to turn in his resignation before I would allow him to talk to anyone about the job. Then if they don't hire him he is out of work. Skip and the powers that be at LSU are going to have to start putting LSU first if they expect anyone else to. Just my opinion.

If he does that, then Miles goes to Michigan, then LSU loses the $1.25 million buyout. Not gonna happen.

We can't force him to resign. That would ruin any chance LSU ever had at getting a decent coach. We just have to either be content with a poor man's mack brown. (it'll take two players of Vince Young's caliber to get us in the NC game) or we'll have to wait till he runs us in the ground.

College Football does not work that way. If Skip Bert, man made that demand then Miles should say want to talk about Loyalty. Well give me a ten year contract. THese are adults and it will be handled in a civil way. Les Miles has one school he is interested in and that is it. We should be blessed. Other schools dont have that problem

Breathtaking isnt it. This really doesnt have a lot to do with X and O's and college ball. It has to deal with Football as a soap opera and a segemnt of the fan base that loves intrigue and Coaching controversy and being negative.

Find one post of mine where I said I was content with Miles as coach.
Miles is constantly being outcoached. He was outschemed vs. Auburn (06 & 07), UF (06), UT (05), UGA (05), ARKY (07), OLE MISS (06 & 07), and even outcoached by Rich Brooks. They all found a hole in our d and crushed it. Plus Auburn in 06 made our 3 first rounders on offense look like scrubbs.
One can only imagine what a coach who knows x's and o's could do, like say Tommy Tuberville. He's actually had an undefeated season in the SEC, something no other coach in the SEC can claim.

LSU was not outcoached against Auburn this year, sorry pal.
Also, LSU was not outcoached against Ole Miss this year or last year. In fact, Coach O had Ole Miss in position to win last year and made some awful coaching decisions to lose the game.
Les outcoached Steve Spurrier this year, and Urban Meyer, and Charlie Weis, and UTenn in 2006, and Frank Beamer...the list goes on.
Take your moronic commentary elsewhere.

Any bobblehead doll could've won 10 games the past 3 seasons with our talent.

However this quote suggests something different....

How the hell do you have NFL talent on defense, 3 first rounders on offense, the best QB in the NFL draft, a "supposed" great coach in Les Miles and let a 3 win Ole Miss team get in a position to win in your own back yard? Methinks you got owned.

Are you one of the clueless morons who actually believes that LSU's talent is head and shoulders above the rest of the country? You probably also believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
If you haven't noticed, those talented players somehow manage to commit bonehead penalties, throw bad interceptions, fumble at key moments, miss tackles, drop easy interceptions, and blow coverage just as much as the same talented guys at other schools. Saying LSU is so talented is just a pussified argument because it cannot be quantified or proven, so it is just thrown out there like it is certifiable fact. Unfortunately, that's what makes it completely wrong.

didn't all the redneck cajuns just walk in support of him....what a bunch of bandwagoners

Saban never did it 3 years in a row wth his OWN players.
He has lapses, but he is not a buffoon, when it comes to motivation, and will. I am not his apologist, Getting the plays in, some of the play calling, and the time outs taken have been horrifyingly Dinardoesque.
But to get rid of someone who has won 10 games 3 years in a row would appear like the firing of Cutcliffe to get Orgeron at Cold Piss
Frustrating isn't it?

Or it's like watching Larry Coker part II take place.

So anytime a team is losing, their coach is being outcoached? Doesn't matter which team won, right? Just at some arbitrary point in the game, "lsupatterson" decides that Ed 0-8 outcoached Les Miles, despite the results being completely obviously the opposite.
It is funny how many LSU fans are unhappy with 10-win seasons and think there are coaches out there that would unequivocably do better.

Nebraska will hire Gill
After listening to Osbourne, Gill is the man. They're going back to tradition. Return to football that will work in nebraska, instead of the power I, it'll be the spread option.
