David Cutcliffe was the OC at Tennessee and he left to start his head coaching gig at Ole Miss before the NC game.

This is a definite possibility!!! The only good thing is Gary Crowton has head coaching experience. He was very successful at LA Tech. BYU was an impossible situation with recruiting...We wouldn't be totally up a creek with out a paddle...I would be surprised if the team wouldn't suffer from all the distraction.

They both would have to leave before the NCG because of recruiting. No way they can wait until Jan8 to start recruiting with national signing day a month away

Seems like an interesting hypothetical. Seems like Crowton's gotta be the interim HC, but then who takes over the DC position for the game? I assume Crowton would still call plays for the game.
