So we're backing off the "Les told team he's staying" articles?

What made these threads get whacked?

Not whacked, just not stickied anymore.

He didn't say he was staying.

He said that he had not talked to Michigan and that if he did he would let his team know.

In other words I will let you guys know if I accept or decline the job once I talk to them this weekend.

Two Michigan reps are waiting on Les in one of his condos near campus to talk to him...from my friend at WAFB.

Well, technically, that's what the threads "quoted" him as saying. The problem arose when reading comprehension became involved.

Nick Saban is meeting with the LSU AD Monday....per my friend in my imagination.

Agree. There was a disconnect between the title and the content.

And I'm pretty sure they're whacked. And the short article is no longer on the home page.

The AD's from both LSU and Michigan are going to duke it out for Les in a Baton Rouge restaurant tonight and the winner gets Miles.

I'm at peace. I think we'll be alright either way.

Hope he stays, tho.

Seems like JJ is the only one who got the message

JJ has those "pictures" so it shouldn't be too hard for him to get the straight scoop from Les.

All that I can confirm with my sources is that he was never adamant that he was staying. In fact, some veterans are saying that it felt like coach speak - "Great season, great game, have fun tonight, enjoy yourself and don't worry about me" kinda stuff. The few times I was told that he mentioned Michigan, it was only so far as saying he has not talked to them, yet.

Granted, I do not know if he will go or not and neither do the players, but the idea that he said he was staying for sure is preposterous. Remember, JJ infamously said in a post-game presser that he played "pretty well" against Vandy . I would take JJ's interviews with a grain of salt.

Longer the silence = more likely things are getting set up with Miles and MI behind scenes.

LSU is prepared. If the move happens, it did not come out of nowhere.

The main thread is now back on page one of the thread list...

So apparently it didn't get whacked.

Gotcha.

Anchored <> whacked.

You're thread got anchored because BelowPar only gets paged every 5 minutes and he only posts when he wants to.

When he posts again, you'll know.

He and the Clucker are tight.
