And that the PTB only came up with a different plan after Saturday? Surely that can't be true..

Have you ever seen Aleva do anything smoothly or for that matter anything positive from him as AD ever?

Actually he said O would still be in the mix if Jimbo says no. I don't think Jimbo will say no, personally.

Unless your bank account looks like this, and you donate a large sum to TAF, no one knows anything about this hire.

I think you will get some different answers as to where O fits on the list

I would still top 10 him particularly if we are playing by some rule like not hiring Aranda who cleary a superior coaching intelect.

Seeing that no one on this board, or in the media for that matter, can say with any specificity as to who the coach is and when he will be named, leads me to think that LSU Admin/Joe Alleva are handling this just fine. Get over the catastrophe syndrome.

Banks do offer multi million dollar FDIC insured accounts. CDAR accounts are one (just a bunch of CDs).

there's so much bull shite on here there's no way to ascertain anything specific. but I can tell you one thing for certain; this is a coaching search. there is and can not be only one person as "the man" unless he can be hired prior to firing the old coach. LSU tried that last year and it didn't work out. this year, we have to hire a guy and we will.

most job searches involving very successful people are an iffy thing. i'm 100% sure Alleva and the money guys have a plan and a backup plan. it may work out smoothly but the overwhelming odds are that it won't and LSU will have to do what Texas, Bama and almost everyone else does, hire someone farther down the list. it may still be a great hire; we just won't know for awhile.
