And instead of getting into a bidding war with our number 1 choice current employer, CLM buyout and other things we just decided clm gets another year?
How close were we? Does anyone really think clm is ever going to let go of offense?
I'm a little disappointed

8 wins at Miles salary with a significantly reduced buyout or pay fricking Saban money to Fischer...

If we were close to 6.5 we were about to drastically overpay.

No... Jarret Lee scarred him for life. He will never let someone go full retard with the passing game and a young QB again.

We all are. But maybe this all worked out this way for a reason and next year Les will retire, we keep our reputation and find "the right guy" maybe that guy is Tom Herman with one more year of college HC experience... maybe we get Pete Carroll... frick, who knows (that last one was a joke)

I am thinking no amount of money would have lured Jimbo. It was always a game. Not happy about keeping Les but happy we undercut his FSU renegotiations. Hopefully Jimbo looks like an ahole to FSU now. Share the pain!

So if les gets rid of Cam, which OC would join our staff with a lame duck coach? Has the administration thought this through?

Doesn't seem like they have ever thought anything through. The AD, boosters, TAF and the mentally challenged head coach along with his head scratching hires all attest to never once thinking through anything
