So Franklin and Kiffin aren't going anywhere this year, and ain't getting raises.

Franklin now has 3 losses in a row, and will be unranked nest week. USC and LSU are out, and Penn State just saved a boatload of money.
Kiffin is not mature enough to be a head coach. People should have known that from his time at Oakland, Tennessee, and USC. Hell, even Saban ran him off before the season ended. LSU won't waste the effort to pick up the phone if his agent calls. And Ole Miss won't have to counter anyone that will pay more than he is currently getting. He will be nothing more than a good OC, working for a tough HC.

They just fired a guy that was ranked #21 last year. They aren't going to throw $7M at an unranked coach. Or at least they shouldn't.
They were only paying Helton $5M.

Haha! Thinking the same thing. I think some of these guys actually believe they are part of the decision making.
