So an interesting fact about Aranda extension

They said it won't be ready for 2 weeks for him to sign, is this Dave holding out Incase Riley gets cold feet. If so only makes me feel better because if Riley says no at last second I feel Aranda is the backup based on that. What you say?

Yeah it was just odd to me that they said 2 weeks, but I'm 100% confident that Riley is gonna be with LSU after yesterday unless he gets cold feet or gets pressured to pass on being the highest paid coach in the land. Alot of pressure/expectation comes with that title.

Most of the times with contracts or even extensions they aren’t signed immediately. There is an agreement in principle, before the contract is drafted
