Not cherry picking. Herman lost to Memphis, Navy and SMU this year. That's not one isolated loss. That's a season long pattern. He may be Nick Saban Jr some day. But for now, he's just this month's flavor. There is no way to know if he becomes Urban Meyer or Rich Rodriguez. It's all just opinion and assertion because he is not a proven coach and he has been playing in the minor leagues.

Let me get this straight. Herman took third place in his weak conference's west division all by himself while coach O took third place in the hardest conference division in all of college football. Coach O losses were to the two SEC Conference Division Champions and was handicapped by the Auburn loss by Miles, but some people think Herman is the better coach and deserves Saban type pay without Saban type championships.

Saban lost to navy when he was at toledo. He also lost to central Michigan.
