He just hasn't done anything as a head coach thus far to justify the love. Tucker was 7-12 as a head coach before this year. Yes, he's having a good year this year, but we can't anybody based on one good year.
And they're getting embarrassed by Ohio State.

I think he was a hot name based upon his recruiting reputation, respect in the coaching profession and seems to be disciplined.
I don’t want him as a coach but the race angle is extremely disrespectful to the guy.

I agree I don’t dislike Tucker. Just don’t buy the hype on a guy that hasn’t done much.
Ugly offense also not attractive. He could be a good coach but way too many questions. Heavy majority of these new hot names don’t pan out.

His team's defensive rankings have dropped EVERY SINGLE YEAR HE HAS BEEN HC, INCLUDING THIS ONE. And when he plays good teams like today, his pass defense is inept and he gets humiliated. What the frick more proof do you need that this guy is not even close to an elite coach? I abhor stupidity and the moronic, couterfactual arguments offered by his apologists.
The fact that schools are considering paying him 100 million is proof of mass delusion and irrationality. It's insane.
Bottom line: he is a terrible coach and I want him nowhere near LSU. That's it. Plenty of reason to hate him.
