Silver Lining: Narrowed Field

1. I am pretty sure Scott Woodward would jump off of a bridge before having to announce BoB
2. Plausible targets remaining:
Aranda
Fickell
Campbell
3. Extremely fringe candidates remaining:
Rhule
Meyer
Stoops
Kiffin (would be shocked)
Freeze (debated whether or not to even include)
Petersen (can’t imagine why this wouldn’t have been announced)
Cristobal
After stepping back from the ledge, I gotta think Campbell is the floor. I can’t imagine he turns down a job like LSU & we are practically the last seat on this ride.
NOTE: If Stoops is a legit candidate, then brass must really like him a lot considering the options (superficially) available.

Riley (USC)

Campbell would have been announced already, especially since everyone here is already subscribing to the belief that we moved on from Riley weeks ago and absolutely weren't caught off guard over the last 24 hours.

I agree, but would you say clearly more plausible than say Rhule/Meyer?
Depending on how he feels about money, Cinci is probably not his last stop. Maybe he waits on OSU. Maybe not.
However, if you believe Aranda or Campbell to be most likely... then we are in agreement.

I feel like it's Aranda or Kiffin with an Outside shot at Campbell or Fickell.
I think Rhule or Meyer are improbable. And if it isn't one of those 6, it's kind of a disaster. Maybe Petersen or Cristobal would be ok hires, but that's about it for the list. Freeze, Stoops, etc. just gross. Want no part of those types of hires.
