Lamam, no disrespect meant, but there is no fricking way Shaw is coming.

If he does, I'll buy you a drink.

I agree. Not sure why they're all high on him. If it came to him, then I'd just prefer Bebe!

You haven't listed any supporting information for your argument, just a cocky smiley face symbol. That seems pretty retarded.

I'm not sure why so many have an issue with Shaw. Harbaugh is considered an absolute stud and he ran much of the same stuff at Stanford. Shaw builds on that success and has been incredibly consistent yet people don't want him here?

And to suggest Orgeron is a better option than Shaw? Umm, no.

Support? He is at one of the best academic universities in the world with massive endowment and unlimited financial support, and has a fairly easy path to a BCS game year in and year out.

So you think he wants to come to Baton Rouge? Give me a break dude. Don't be delusional.

I'm just posting here that I'm sick of seeing people say that Shaw runs the same offense as Les. NOBODY ran that pile of crap that Cam and Les spit out. Just because Stanford would line up in the I formation doesn't mean that they ran the toss dive 3 straight plays from the 25 yard line following a turnover.

it's not the same offense

but Shaw is known for going ultra conservative and it has lost him games

I would not want Shaw

Shaw's offense the last two years without McCaffrey would look 1000x less explosive

Path to the BCS is a good reason, but academics are a limitation for football coaches. The resource aspect of this isn't a valid argument--I don't have to google this, it's already evident football is more important at LSU than Stanford.

I don't understand how you completely rule out the idea that a very competitive person would see limitations with the talent he can acquire at Stanford and would want to test his ability as a coach to be the best in cfb.

I think to say he's 100% not at all interested is preposterous. Competitive people like to think about moving up to the next level if only to stroke their ego a little bit and see what their market value is.

"Delusional"... I'm not saying Gruden and Saban are targets, Shaw isn't an unreasonable target, but certainly not the most likely to leave either.

His name seems to consistently come up when people who know what they're talking about speak about this.

They're probably interested in him. I don't think he'll leave his alma mater tho
