Dude is in deep w/ SEC.
Right about now, I'm guessing he's on the phone w/ TT and the conversation goes:
Sexton: Look Tommy, just go fishing.
TT: But Jimmy, I was born to coach.
Sexton: You're not going to take MSU job; it's a coaching graveyard. You are going to chill out, go fishing, collect the 6 mill that I had negotiated for you my cut $900,000), make a few guest appearances on Gameday next fall, and wait for 2010.
TT: Buy Jimmy, why?
Sexton: I'm forecasting an opening at another SEC West school that is loaded w/ talent. Nicky Dollars and Huey Nutt going to make it happen for ya.
TT: So, I should start shopping for real estate in BTR.
Sexton: Already go that covered. It seems SOS had purchased a home last year and w/ the down market has not been able to unload it.
TT: Thanks Jimmy, that's why you're the best.

No doubt about it Sexton is Da Godfadda of the SEC. Book it he already knows who the next coach at AU will be even if AU doesnt.
