Atlanta is the one that worried me going into this weekend if they took the gaspipe against Carolina. I figure Harbaugh already knew whatever he was going to with the Raiders -- and not saying he signed a total noncompete, but I wouldn't be surprised if in letting him out of the contract, there was some agreement not to go to the Raiders.
This place would go thermonuclear if he flips. There's a part of me that kind of wants to see it happen.

Turning down a fat contract with full control in ATL would be tough for anyone to turn down

Worked with him in Denver before he got the ESPN gig. Whatever the league wants him to say, he will. Period.
You sound bitter and envious.

not at all, good for him but I just don't listen to anything he says. I wouldn't want that job, I have my own opinions, not gonna roll with someone telling me what to write/say.

Yeah, ATL would be hard not to at least listen to

why does harbaugh even need to leverage anyone if he's so in demand

He'll never go to Atlanta so stop. It'll be Michigan or the Bears.

Schefter and Rappaport. Losing more and more credibility by the minute. This has been over since the 22nd when Jim accepted the Michigan job. He will be on a plane to Ann Arbor within the hour. He will be announced at noon tomorrow and then will speak at halftime of the UM-Illinois game tomorrow.
LOL. Only among Michigan fans.

Chernobylesque would be the only apt description.

What happens if ATL offers 10MM per? He has to consider it. Something like 6 years/60 mill.
