The guy is Crowton Redux without the magical first year.

Don't even let him interview as a courtesy.

I really think someone should throw Krag a bone.

I just don't want LSU to be the one to do it.

Thats what is said about Gonzo... that he deserves a shot... but do you want his first OC job to be at LSU. Some day he might be great. If we don't give him a chance, maybe his greatness is spent on another SEC team.

The eve of a possible NC run is not the time to roll the dice

the new contract gives Miles leverage to pull off 2 or 3 more Malleveto level hires in the next few years.

If we have learned nothing else aboult Les, he is a gentleman and a genuinely good person. If a fellow coach calls asking for an interview, he will probably get it. Do you hang yor star on his personal issues? I feal Les knows that answer also.

Isn't anyone right now a roll of the dice on the eve of a possible NC?

If there were such a sure fire lock for OC right now, he'd probably already be hired.

I don't think there is a perfect candidate out there.

ETA: That doesn't mean we cant hire someone that turns out to be a perfect hire.

louiville had 9 consecutive winning seasons prior to hiring him.

After his hire they did not have a single winning season while he was coach

PLEASE DONT HIRE THIS GUY

Until this year, when he was no longer coach. Perhaps all of this is coincidence.

I recall how so many TD posters predicted how it looked like Miles was going to keep Crowton & how discouraging that was. I always said to be patient & wait until after the Cotton Bowl. Give Miles some credit--he knew GC had to go & he can figure out there are many better candidates out there than Kragthorpe.
