OK I believe this is a very long shot. The main reason I would like to see this is the Gumps tearing down the Saban statue if he bails on them. This would make great reality TV.

I'm not saying he's going but if he was considering it wouldn't hammers killing each other after a loss have to impact his decision?

If you say no you're not being honest. People acting dumb is one thing but this is insane

Picture Baghdad, 2003 or Moscow, 1992. Statues being hauled down by mobs with ropes.

The amount of grown men that would come out to the unveiling of a statue of a college football coach is somewhat disturbing.

Being realistic, every contender in the sec would like to see Saban leave bama. He is by far the best recruiter in sec history next to the Bear. However, why would he leave. How much money is enough. It would be extremely hard to duplicate what he has done at bama.
With this said only Texas could be a possibility. But he is 60 yrs old, so why leave now.

Wallace Wade left Alabama for Duke in 1931. He still has a statue at the Walk of Champions. However Saban leaves Alabama, I suspect the rational fans will put his tenure in perspective.

The Texas job is easier and he wants to retire there.

Objectively, you have to wonder if some psycho fan is going to tear that statue down

1. New challenge of rebuilding another program

2. $$$$$$$

3. No bama fans to deal with

Saban is gone. Too quiet in Austin and Tuscaloosa. Gone.
