Why does the "new" coach rumor always involve the purchase of a new home in the new city? Funny how these guys always buy a house before they're even annouced as being the new coach.

if so, it's probably contingent upon him receiving and accepting an offer to coach LSU.

Every year we hear these real estate rumors...literally every year from every school looking for a coach (UM has them right now). Yet, in all my years of following college football, when has a coach ever bought a house before he was publicly announced?

And if they do buy a house before they are announced, they end up buying two because they always search for and buy one after they get to their destination school.

lets get one thing straight, a purchase agreement is written - thus making an offer. then the offer is accepted, rejected or a counter-offer is written. if accepted a closing date is scheduled, title company is chosen and date is set. if counter offer things are negioted such as price, repairs, furniture and things like inspections and warranties.
it is never a simple purchase unless its a cash sale and that would take atleast a few days.
in other words, bullshite!!!!!
