Chavis and Walker both have flaws but both are a tremendous upgrade.

You like Tenuta who is often described as a guy with a severe personality disorder. Walker wants a HC position and is apt to try to get one asap. Chavis may also, but may is guy who digs in on the defense for a decade.

Chavis...

Chavis seems good about making sure everyone is in the right spot, which seems to have been our biggest flaw on D last year.

Walker doesn't know the SEC and it could cost us in the first year as he learns. Then he might bolt after year 2 or 3.

...but we NEED a DB coach really badly!
...which is the one spot where I haven't heard a name mentioned.

Chavis or Walker would be fine. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to have a defense that makes good decisions and knows where to be. Tenuta is possible high gain / high risk guy who is scary for the long term success of the defense.

Mine isn't so much the infatuation with Walker as the, oh well I guess it's better than nothing I feel for Chavis.

UPDATE:

I've counted twice, thrown out the hanging chads and adjusted to suit my candidate (this is LA after all). Interim results are:.....

WALKER: 17/45 38%
CHAVIS: 14/45 31%
TENUTA: 7/45 16%
OTHER/UNDECIDED: 6/45 13%
Drexel cast one vote "For the Opposite of Reloc Pelican": 2/45 2%

I say it is still "too close to call", " a statistical dead heat", "within the margin of error". Some body needs to break the tie....log in and vote!

Chavis or Walker?

Well the Chavis tends to be a bit smoother, but the Walker definitely has more complexity. All that said, I prefer single malt to blended.

Can we get both of em as co-coordinaters?

If not then I like Walker.

Try the Walker Green Label.

(let me know what you think, I haven't tried it.)

UPDATE:

I've counted thrice, thrown out the hanging chads and adjusted to suit my candidate (this is LA after all). Couple days left to VOTE:.....

WALKER: 19/49 39%
CHAVIS: 15/49 31%
TENUTA: 7/49 14%
OTHER/UNDECIDED: 6/49 12%
Drexel cast one vote "For the Opposite of Reloc Pelican": 1/49 2%
One vote for any the Single Malt Scotch over Chavis and Walker: 1/49 2%

I say it is still "too close to call", " a statistical dead heat", "within the margin of error". Some body needs to break the tie....log in and vote! Vote before your candidate drops from contention!
