Well, that was apparently the lesser of 2 evils which is shocking.

Observable results would indicate otherwise. I do believe that he made changes in his personal life following the 2019 championship that impacted his professional life.

I'm not in coaching, but I've seen this play out in the business world with people plenty of times. You'll have a highly productive person doing great work, and then something goes wrong for them personally and it starts bleeding into their work. Their ability to make good decisions suffers, and ultimately their value to the company diminishes. It's sad to see, but it happens everywhere quite often. I do think there's some validity to that with what happened to Orgeron.

I do too. After announcing that he’s not coming back mid-season, what kind of miracles were expected? 6-7 injuries and your fired.

Ask any of these fans if they would like Orgeron to lead the young men of their University. That list would probably be a lot smaller.

2019 is/was the outlier. Everything else leading up to and beyond 2019 is Ed Orgeron. Without 2019, and that grand amalgamation of talent, he would be very similar in results to his Ole Miss record. Perhaps one of the worst coaches in the LSU-vs-Ole Miss rivalry AND on BOTH sides of the rivalry.
