100%, I think he and Scott were talking about this before the season even started, and if what a few reliable posters on here are saying lately is true, it's a forgone conclusion that it's fisher.

I totally got that though I may have given you a little shite about it. I like the guy and think LSU could do much worse.

I'm really having a hard time figuring who I would like, TBH. Everyone has something that gives me pause or some, probably irrational, reason I don't like them.

Hoping Woody pulls some unsuspecting rabbit out of the hat.

I'll trust who he hires until I have a reason not to.

I heard from a guy well connected on the bayou that the Jimbo smoke is real. This is coming from the same guys who agreed to pay a big chunk of O’s buy out.

Absolutely no way Fisher leaves a 100m buyout

Our boosters will not pay more than that, after giving a 30m buyout. He would be an idiot to leave that.

No offense but you're retarded if you think that will happen.

Fisher has no buy out. He’s free to leave whenever he wants. He’s only owed money if he’s fired.

I think he means he’d be stupid to leave $100m guaranteed…and he would be stupid to leave that…

Unless he’s getting that or more guaranteed at LSU.

and he’s saying we would be stupid to give that guarantee. And we indeed would be stupid to give that.

Not retarded, just taking everything into consideration, I didn't say I wanted Jimbo either, take a step back and look at things as a whole.

Aranda

I get the feelings about Aranda but he has only one year as a HC. If you are hiring and your butt is on the line I'm going for a guy who has a greater body of work to base my decision on. If Riley falls through then it's either Napier or Kif.

Quite honestly all the speculation prove Scott has done his job.
We will see...on his schedule. I know recruiting hangs in the balance but you cannot let ONE recruiting class dictate the direction of the program for the next 10 years or so.

Pump Riley

My uncle in the department tells me to keep pumping Riley while Scott narrows the sights of his harpoon on his long, sought after white whale.

It’s happening baws. T minus 28-35 days. Home run hire coming up!!

And it ain't Riley, so you just keep on pumping.

Completely missed the point. Fisher has the buyout if he’s fired. AKA he is guaranteed that money. If he leaves on his own, he loses that guaranteed money, and is forced to get that money elsewhere. We cannot pay that. We don’t have the money. And even if we did, why the frick would he leave. Lateral move.

Idiot.
