Riley talk reminds me of Texas and Urban last year

I joined Orangebloods last Nov to see the drama and they were almost certain they had Urban
Confirmations of his wife looking at homes, flight trackers, insiders confirming he’s coming
Turns out he never even interviewed and was never coming
I’ll say it for the 100th time, Riley isn’t coming. Don’t fall for the smoke. Yes it’s fun but take everything with a grain of salt
Woodward will make a good hire but it won’t be Riley

same with tennessee and gruden in '17 (although that one was far more comical). when the hire is announced it'll be a huge letdown here, not because we didn't hire a good coach, but because its not jimbo or riley even though the board is convinced that it is

Woodward doesn't need to make a good hire.
He has to make a homerun hire to avoid being a joke and a hoax.
You don't spend millions of boosters money on a good hire that anybody could do.
