Has been my favorite day.
We know the guy has QBs locked down. And I’m not concerned for a second that LR is going to be stubborn about his defense / not delegate to a DC. If Baker and/or Raymond are retained, you consult those guys before making a DC hire.
Jimbo can recruit & builds teams inside-out, but he IS going to be stubborn about his offense.
Riley is the one and only hire I would be absolutely stoked about. I really think he would wreck shop at LSU.
And all else equal, I’d prefer to see something different than being a competent offense away from elite for another decade.
Make him say no.
Make him say no again.
Offer someone else the job.
Then call him again.
