Rich Rod at bama would have been scary with the talent pool available.

Rich Rod lobbied for the USC job. Traveled across the country on Saturday to interview for a job that was already Muschamp's.

Then he turned it down, right

This. Boom was already hired by the time RR interviewed.

I don't care what anyone says, RR was NOT offered the HC job at South Carolina.

Yes he is, that has never been in doubt.

A green arrow for you - this thread was needed. Everyone now understands who Rich Rodriquez is ... WVA and Michigan fans have known it for awhile. AZ fans know it, they may not be willing to admit it right now ... but they know it.

Rich Rod was never offered. He was interviewed because of an EEOC technicality after he formally submitted his resume. Otherwise he never would have been interviewed and, FWIW, he paid his own way out here.

Yes. He was asked about it.

He would have caved to the pressure at bama. It would have been a meltdown.

Ray Tanner says the tweet from Arizona's AD that Rich Rodriguez got an offer from South Carolina is "inaccurate."
12:11 PM - 7 Dec 2015 · South Carolina, USA, United States

Rich Rod fabricated the offer and told his AZ AD about it to try to win some goodwill back for even wanting to interview.
