This may shock you but, he is unemployed. OC at LSU is not a "step down gig" for someone out of coaching and that has been passed over already this year.

frick. NO. He's an a-hole, whose offense will get a QB killed in the SEC. You saw what Auburn's D-Line was doing to Darron Thomas last night, right? No way a QB goes 12 games in the SEC in that system.

Unless he's 6'5", 225#, or walks on water.

A lot of HC with top 10 offenses, and back to back 11 win seasons in their career take OC jobs, my bad....

1 his ego wouldn't do it.

2 I don't think he would get the most out of the talent we have at RB.

Amen. His type qb would get killed in the SEC. Even Urban said last night when you get to the one, you need a workhorse to pound it in.

No, for the same reason I wouldn't want Paul Johnson as our OC.

His offense falls apart when his QB gets hurt. Which happens in two games a season, because of the style of offense.

It also doesn't stand up at all to a good, disciplined defensive front seven like Ohio State's, of which there are more than a few in the SEC.

And he left his Alma Mater at their football program's darkest hour for almost no reason at all. He was more beloved there than seems possible. And he deserted them.

Maybe just maybe it was a personnel problem?

We're not talking about Mike Leach here.

At first glance I'd say yes. His offenses can put up some points but I just don't know if LSU is a good place for his offense.
