Rhule and/or Brady won't resign from Panthers.

They will stay until fired and collect their contractual earnings unless fired for cause. Spurrier and Kelly were fired but still collected those millions.

I don’t think either is a realistic option but if they were, the money LSU would be offering would dwarf whatever buyout money they would owe or future potential earnings from their current contracts

Maybe they tank the rest of the year to get fired, collect their buyout, and sign with LSU. Maybe they are already in talks with LSU and this is the Woodward genius plan.

Saban resigned. Dolphins owed him nothing. Petrino quit the Falcons and didn't get paid.

Your logic doesn't really make sense under the premise that pay would be at least equal elsewhere.

But by your own logic you’re saying that Saban wouldn’t have left if he had money owed to him on the NFL contract and would’ve waited to be fired. Which clearly wasn’t the case
