Fired-former Nebraska AD Steve Pederson received a big fat contract extension then gave one to Fired-former Nebraska Football HC Bill Callahan after our 1st game this year. You know, right before the bottom fell out.

Hope things go well for you guys, I like the SEC but was a SWC fan before Arkansas left and the Conference fell apart.
The Big 8 should have scooped up Arkansas in my opinion, but I'm sure you could say the SEC is as good or better fit. Not sure about that though.

Should have. The SEC is the better football conference but the Big XII would be a good fit.
We are closer to Norman, Stillwater, Columbia, and both KS schools than Oxford, MS. Austin is a similar distance as Oxford. Geographically speaking, the Big XII is a better fit.
Traditionally, all of Arkansas's historical opponents are in TX. Texas, aTm, Tech, etc.....
The Big XII would be a better fit from a tradition and rivalry stance.
Everyone says the SEC has more money, but I would like to see what the difference is and see how large of a gap.

Re Nut to O.Miss, the Jackson paper is running an article quoting their AD announced today that he will be hiring a national head hunter firm to aid him in his search. Why even mention that if it was a done deal?
