those of you saying we shouldn't have fired miles if we aren't going to hire a big name. miles was an "out of left field" name when he was hired.

There are a lot more "out of left field" coaches that fail than there are that succeed.

He also wasted one of the best LSU teams of all time because he was still learning on the job.

im not saying les was good, I'm just saying let it play out and give the next guy a chance even if he isn't named fisher or herman

Saban left us too late in the year, which is why we had to get Les out of left field

In '05, LSU was an intriguing coaching job with upside and downside.

In '16, LSU is a universally acknowledged destination job.

Les Miles was hired out of convenience, mostly because Saban left late and partly because LSU was still somewhat unknown as a national power. We often forget how out of left field the '03 season was, at the time.

That's not the case anymore.

The Coaches, Heads of Fortune 500 companies, and all Knowing Badasses on here know all. You must listen and accept what they say as church, gospel, whatever you want to call it
