How about the inside info that I have on FSU that your administration causes unnecessary tension with Jimbo by not spending money on assistants, raises, etc. all while privately discussing amongst themselves how they are afraid of giving Jimbo the control of the football program he deserves because they fear that he will have Bowden like influence???

If you think Thrasher, Wilcox et al, would sit silent if they thought Fisher was leaving and not approach Boosters and staff with info, you're nuts. Jimbo has the cupboard full here for at least the next three years with an easier path to the playoffs with Clemson and Louisville losing big parts to the draft. Jimbo also has Bama in the opener next year. He's been given huge upgrades in facilities in the last two years and got raises for his assistants. He's going to leave now to start all over again at LSU? Come on. He won't even win his division in the SEC West for at least the next two years.

Not a lateral move. So many people mistake that. There are so many reasons it isn't, but we can start with assistant coach salaries. Look them up for both schools, then get back to me.

Actually LSU is a lateral move when you don't consider personal preferences. And that's not a bad thing. Both FSU and LSU are top programs.
Jimbo will do what he wants to do. I hope he wants to go to LSU, but I don't blame him if he wants to stay. I think LSU is going to offer him more than FSU (hopefully), but it comes down to what he wants.
ETA yes I know we pay assistants more. That doesn't mean Florida State can't up the ante and do the same.

I'm not being disrespectful. Honestly, has LSU been more sucessful than FSU since Jimbo took over? 3 Conference Championships and a National Championship plus a berth in the playoff in '14. What has LSU done during that stretch?
