You need to move up to New York, DC. I think I'm about to get dumped.

at miami, his defenses were average at best with much better athletes than he'll have at arky. its a splash hire and sounds good but will end up with average results, and after hearing about how great the hire was for 3 years, he'll get whacked and be the scapegoat.

as an LSU fan, i like this hire for arky. im not afraid of him one bit. that should tell you something.

I think the best thing about Catfish Hole is the green tomato relish stuff.

That place off Dickson that lived a few years called Gullett's used to make the same stuff.

I lived about an hour from NYC for 3 years before I moved to Arkansas and settled. Loved it.

Maybe as a HC, but when he was a DC I know his defenses were pretty awesome (top 10 year in and year out).

They were much better when he was the DC and not the head coach.

During Shannon's six years as UM's defensive coordinator, his defenses ranked as follows in total defense nationally:

2001 – 6th
2002 – 7th
2003 – 2nd
2004 – 28th
2005 – 4th
2006 – 7th
