Really are you a fan of UL as well? Did you follow Krags while he was Louisville?
Do you not watch college football?

If you didn't then stop posting crap you know nothing about.

From the Wikipedia article....
You know that wiki is written by the general public, right?
Think about what Mile's wiki would read like with entries from the typical rantard at mid season.
It is too lazy to just look at the record and deduce much.
He will not be HC, btw

Do you not watch college football? There defense was AWFUL.
Also, how was Charlie Weis as a HC? Guess you think that was a terrible hire as well.

I am actually convinced that half of the fan base are complete idiots that would have only been happy if we would have hired Gruden or Leach as an OC. Damn some of you people are just completely fricking retarded.
this is the best post so far.

1) He recruits Texas.
2) QB developer.
how well?
1) I'm not exactly sure, but he has ties to the area.
2) I may be reading too much into it, but I don't think you get hired to coach QBs in the NFL if you haven't proven your worth in that regard. I would think a franchise wouldn't trust that responsibility to just anyone (and he had good success there).

wasn't that their first season in the big east?

as long as he doesn't call options on the short side of the field..

It can get worse. He was AWFUL at UofL. Took an orange bowl winning team that lost one game to 6-6, 5-7, 4-8 records the next 3 years.
as the head coach. at LOUISVILLE. Something tells me he'll have a little something more to work with in Baton Rouge. Not to mention, our sick-nasty defense.

Being a head coach and a coordinator are completely different things. Mike Archer has had a successful career as a DC since his demise at LSU.

I agree with most of this. our o-line will be dominate in 2011.
No it won't, because Stud if the coach. It will be the weak link of the team.

How about this fact: he ran Louisville into the ground.
Why will no one mention his success at Tulsa?

Because that would negate his evidence that he is a terrible coach who shouldn't be allowed to live.
/sarcasm.

oh this success on offense?
2003 Tulsa ranked #51
2004 Tulsa ranked #73
2005 Tulsa ranked #39
2006 Tulsa ranked #24
face it it's a mediocre hire, the guy doesnt have that impressive of resume at all. But who knows, sometimes things work out, just not feeling very optimistic here.
Posted on 1/20/11 at 10:22 am to Prominentwon
He was successful at Tulsa. We'll see if he's successful here. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Does anyone know if he coaches from the sideline, or the press box?

FIFY Bro!
I'm happy with the hire...not the guy I would have picked but I'm not the head coach. I believe that Les picked what he thought was the best guy for the program to succeed. When the program succeeds, he succeeds. If Les likes him, then I trust his decision and can't wait to see the product he (Krags) puts on the field.
