that he's vacillating back and forth. Let's face it - he can make an argument for staying at OM, going to Florida, going to LSU, maybe even going to NFL, although I think he knows he's a college coach.

If you connect the dots from everything he’s done between when BK and Napier were canned it’s pretty clear what his intentions are.

People show you who they are if you give them enough time to do so. Every action points to him leaving Oxford.

He knows the ceiling is somewhat lower at Ole Miss. He also knows the only other options as of this moment, are Florida and LSU. Tough place to be.

Bama's not open. Texas isn't open. What happens if he takes another job, now, and one of those two or something equal opens up in the next two years? He can't leave, again. His next move is his last move up. So, he had best make it count.

Possibly waiting on a call from the NFL?

If I had to bet, I'd bet there is an announcement one way or the other the day after PSU makes their's. If PSU doesn't announce their guy before next Saturday, then he stay at Ole Miss.

Ah yes, LSU is such a poor option to have to go to

He's burning a lot of bridges at OM right now, so it's hard to believe he stays.

This will not be a fun week for him there.

He knows he can build a Saban-esque dynasty at LSU given our resources, the talent in Louisiana, his ability to navigate NIL and his coaching chops. He won’t be able to do that consistently at Ole Miss.

I think the amount of equity he burned at OM is telling. That alone shows he wants to leave or he just simply wouldn’t be ruining all the good will he built up

Exactly, he had many opportunities to say he’s staying in his press conferences, interviews etc. and he hasn’t said that once. He’s definitely leaving.

I’m sure that’s what the meeting was about today. He probably broke down in tears, not knowing what to do and that’s why Ole Miss is letting him keep coaching. I swear you guys are ridiculous.
