That does me no good. what did they say?
Posted on 11/27/07 at 4:41 pm to cjk98
just talking about Les' comment about being undefeated in regulation play. wilbon said he is crazy, and if he was a buckeye booster he would be slipping some money to buy the plane flight for miles to michigan.

talking about his "end of regulation" quote
MW said that if he were OSU he would buy the plane ticket for miles to go to UM, because they would dominate him.
also said miles stock was free falling.

He was right about the Pac-10, but Miles deserves to be criticized for his "regulation" quote.
that's about the same as saying "Well, back when everyone ran the option and we would've thrown the ball 48 times a game, I believe we would have dominated."

Wilbon knows as much about college football as I do about astrophysics. Less, actually. The "undefeated in regulation" comment was first made by Lou Holtz on Saturday. Les just repeated it. That said, considering (i) the source (Holtz) and (ii) the insipid stupidity of the remark, Les should never have repeated it.

It was an ACCURATE statement although not a RELEVANT statement. That's about all the play that statment should get. The PTI guys are a joke right up there with Finebaum.
