Prediction: Rick Stockstill to Wake Forest

Using my crystal ball to predict Middle Tennessee Coach Rick Stockstill will be Wake's next head coach.
He has been at MTSU for eight seasons and is 51-48. He won 10 games in 2009. He has led the Blue Raiders to 3 bowl games and a bowless 8 win season in 2012. A 4th bowl bid is coming at 8-4 this season. They shared the Sun-Belt title in 2006.
Stockstill has strong ties in the Carolinas. From 1989-2002 he was WR/QB coach at Clemson. In 2003 he was OC at ECU, and 2004-2005 he was WR coach at South Carolina.
Thoughts? Anyone even care?

Sounds like a pretty decent coach. Maybe he wants something better than Wake though.

It will have to be someone truly committed to building and staying there fairly long term to get the pieces in place. Wake has to be the hardest major conference job

Zero draw and no resources. It's certainly one of the hardest places to coach.
