We won't even have to look for a new Head Coach so don't worry.

why no Pellini?
The guy turned Nebraska around and recruiting pretty well.... IN NEBRASKA.
What do you think les would have done thus far if he was in nebraska?

Short fuse
Bad recruiter
Players don't like him (which is okay for some coaches, i.e. Saban, but Pelini had too many other negatives.)

since when is this a bad thing for a football coach?
Oh nevermind, I know the answer already. Since America started breeding a bunch of pussies

hahaha... I was halfway joking.
But seriously, there was one incident and more was made of it than should have been.

Short fuse isn't the same thing as emotions.
You have to pick you battles with officials, players, administrators, etc. If you fly off the handle often, then no one pays attention or respects when you do it when its warranted.
It's a really bad trait in coaching and Pelini's got it.

Amen. Nebraska isn't out of the woods yet, and still on dangerous footing..even if Mack and McCoy were a lucky second away from losing the Big-12 to the Huskers last year.
Running to the land of the slow pasty ballers(aka Legends and Losers) is gonna help Huskers..cause beating Tex and OU on the reg..aint happpening.

Damn. So I guess Miles' success in the Big 12 at the time of his hire was a great decision? Right?
4-7, 8–5, 9–4, and 7–5.
Impressive.

There were better options than Miles at the time of his hiring, despite his success at LSU.
And Ok St when Miles took it over wasn't close to where it sits today(also partly due to T Boone's stadium and facility upgrades..partly due to Miles foundation for Gundy to work with)..
Nor anywhere near the brandname that is Nebraska Football, to sell to for an advantage in Bo's situation.
Don't know if Bo could've held up to the pressure that Miles has faced in BR over the last six years?
There are many better possibilities with higher upsides than Bo Pelini for next LSU HC.

From nowhere to 2 straight Big 12 Championship appearances and he got fricked out of one.

Impressive.
Comparing Nebraska to Oklahoma State is naive.

That's all fine and dandy, but to say he's a "piss poor hire" I find is a little ridiculous.
At the time Pelini took the Nebraska job, it wasn't a top flight coaching job. And yet he's took it and brought it back to that brand name.
