A little of topic...
But Bayou Gold's post made me wonder...
Why have the little banana men quit dancing?
It's kind of sad...

Is that why Tubby didn't go to A&M? I had heard that he wanted to wait to see what goes down at LSU. Did AU extend him?
Posted on 11/26/07 at 11:45 am to Tiger in Gatorland
Tubby + Muschamp = 2009 NC.

Are you fricking kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!
if this happens, my family and I would like a full refund of all season ticket expenditures and TAF donations that we have made over the past 45 yrs or so!!!!!!!!
I think I would rather LSU dismantle the football team all together than to hire that prick!!!

if that is the kind of intelligence that comes out of the chocolate city, then I now understand why it is still in ruins

I'm with you Chicot. Why are all these people so in love with Tubberville?
In 2003 they were picked by many to win the NC in the preseason. Guess what, they sucked. Under Tubberville Auburn has won only one SEC and that was in 2004. He's been there nine years and won only one SEC.
Tubberville also has a $6 million buyout and LSU will not pay that.

Please Tubberville is probably the 2nd best coach in the SEC. LSU would be LUCKY to get him.

This is what it all boils down to. Tubby is a prick and I do understand that but he is a good coach. I think that if he had the talent that we have at LSU then he would do great things with it. Do I think that LSU would pay 6 million to get he I don't see it happening. No matter how much we all bitch and complain if LSU wants to hire Sean Payton (Not that this would ever happen)tomorrow then there is nothing any of us could do about it. Just sit back and see what happens. I do think that Miles is going to take the UM job after the Bowl game.

you wouldn't get $1 back, BUT you could transfer all your season tickets into my name so you never have to give them any more money

To Tchefuncte Tiger:
Are you sure that you are not a "journalist" for CBS, because you sure no how to take things out of context?
The "for the past 45 years" statement was preceeded by the words "season ticket expenditures and TAF donations that we have made over the past 45 yrs or so". See the word "and"? That makes the TAF donations inclusive with the season tickets. Never mind...it will talk simply to some of you (are you also from the chocolate city?)....
We have had season tickets for 45 years. We have donated to TAF for the past 7 to 10 years or so. Therefore, we have made financial contributions for season tickets and TAF for 45 years. Do you ever think about taking english classes again? Try not to sleep through it this time.

If Tubby would become our next head coach, I would seriously consider it. The only problem would be that the LSU Athletic dept. only allows transfers of season tickets to the next generation or next of kin.

wow chicot you're an idiot. what reasons do you have for being so against bringing a successful SEC HC here?

I think you meant "know" instead of "no."

I don't have a problem bring a successful SEC HC here. As long as it is Mark Richt.
