Pete Carroll to San Diego Chargers?

Is it time to revive this rumor? Pete seems to be very frustrated with the BCS and how USC has no chance without a playoff. He's not getting any younger. I think if San Diego wants him they will get him.

He has failed to keep up with the expectations time and again with all those priced recruits. I'm wondering if he will win another championship. When he wonders the same, he will leave. Winning a national title is NOT easy and I hope some of our fans realized that. We have freaking TWO in the span of 5 years!!!

Carroll to the NFL rumors won't start resurfacing until he stops saying he won't take an NFL job unless he gets full control over personnel decisions-- which he'll never get.

I think this is the one place Saban would go- It is higher profile, the media would loves Saban and USC- USC would lay out the money- all stars would align and it would be the biggest story in football
Problem is I do not see Pete leaving-however not winning a NC has got to be weighing on him and his stock dropping- he may consider a move more now than before- not likely though

Its a yearly tradition. The Pete Carroll rumor mill, he gets a nice little raise...stays where he belongs afterall.
