I know I will probably get bashed for this but why not at least gague the interest of Pete Caroll? He has said that LSU was a place he always wanted to coach.

He's 64-65, he's going to retire in the NFL.

If they weren't competing for championships, I would at least give us a 5% chance of luring him. That said, they are in the mix every year so I can't see him leaving until tshtf in Seattle.

I mean yeah it's worth a shot but he's been in Seattle like 6-7 years now. Seems like that's his spot for the rest of his career.

You should be bashed for thinking he may leave the NFL when he doesn't have to.

Easy to say but what makes you think he wouldn't want to leave the NFL? Yes he has had success there but dealing with overpaid diva's in the NFL has to get tiresome.

hmmmm let's analyze this;

Successful pro coach that has won a super bowl and has a ton of control in his current job. Has a very competitive team with a good QB that will probably be in the hunt for another super bowl title this year but he is willing to go back to college?

Not happening my man!!!

He's won one Superbowl and competed in another. How many coaches in the league can currently say this? He's got at least a 5 year grace period left with the Seahawks.

If he gets fired after that, he's getting swooped up by another NFL team.

I would take him before another NFL coach like Chip Kelley

Because he makes $8,000,000 a year and gets to live in Seattle?

Seattle will be competing for titles for the next few years. Also, he's getting up there in age.
